Who's the chocolate Masterchef course Level 1 suitable for?

No mater whether you are a chef, student or a foodie, if you have a soft spot for chocolates then  this intensive and challenging course is meant for you. All you need is a passion to be a successful chocolatier and you can do wonders with the program. 
The course will provide you with everything from the ingredients to the equipment. We also have disposable aprons available. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes. We will also provide you with refreshments and snacks.

You will be able to take all confections prepared during the class home with you. Equipped with the knowledge of latest chocolate making techniques you would feel more empowered to prepare your own chocolates.

What chocolate skills will you learn in Level 1:

- the origins of chocolate
- cocoa varieties
- bean to bar process
- chocolate making equipment
- how to correctly taste chocolate
- chocolate tempering techniques
- preparation of fillings
- the use of chocolate moulds
- how to enrobe chocolates


Do I need to bring anything?

You will be supplied with an apron and all the equipment and ingredients needed for your course. We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes.


What will happen on the day?

Please arrive 10 min early. During the course, you’ll work individually and in pairs. Lunch, refreshments and snacks will be provided.

You will go home equipped with everything you have made, knowledge of the very latest chocolate-making techniques and equipment, and a certificate signed by Isabella. You can also purchase professional chocolate-making equipment and ingredients on the day, or from our online shop.
